The bridge contains six duty stations: 1) CO/Duty Officer,
2) XO/Backup Tactical Station, 3) Tactical/Security,
4) CONN, 5) Science, and
6) OPS/Engineering.
All the bridge stations, except for the Command chair, have
holographic crewmen to man the stations in case of an emergency or while the "live" crew ends
a duty shift without a "live" replacement. The use of holographic technology allows for this
class of starship to operate with a minimal crew compliment. A holographic communication
receiver pad is located in front of the main viewscreen.
